my car feels like it could go faster but it's just not moving fast enough in first gear....torque is there but car just doesn't move forward....

maybe i need to play with ECU chip?

i've been looking into adding power to my car without spending too much money. i found these sites which i think it's great deal but i just dun know if this is goin to damage my engine.

I would stay away from any of these 20 horsepower for $100 module type upgrades to your ecu, They cause more damage than good in general.

Do you have any modifications to your car?
If not than upgrading your ecu will not gain you much.

If you do have enough mods than there are several good manufacturers out there that do ecu reprogramming including Technosquare, Unichip etc...

Someone did an experiment with the 20hp for $100 ecu upgrade...it was a plastic box with 3 wires. I'll see if I can find a thread if you want to take a look at the results?

Technosquare and Altered Atmosphere do ECU reflashing.

You ccould go with a piggyback or standalone, though.
