I installed the Injen SES tru-dual exhaust last week. Did not like that there was no balance pipe between the two banks. Yesterday I took the Z into the exhaust shop to have an X pipe installed. I wanted it before the resonators but due to the exhaust design, they said the only place they could put one was just after the resonators. So I elected to go with an "H" pipe right at the curve in the primaries before the resonators.
I'm very happy with the results. Got rid of most of the rasp and seems to have gained back some of the low end torque. Good $47 investment.

Balances out the exhaust pulses between the two sides. Smooths out the exhaust tone. Factory true dual systems have had an "H" or "X" pipe for years.
