i finished detailing the car in the afternoon, planned to go to my mates and have a front plate made up but it ended up taking longer than i thought. I didnt want to drive too far with no front plate

Was good catching up with you all and putting some face to your call signs I had a great time we must do it again some time in the future, I had no problems with the nice male and female constables they just want to check me out, they made no reference to any illegal activities that may have been going on in the local area. I think the chick cop was hot for my car!!!!

I was talking to my dad last night about our little mini-drags last nite and he suggested going down to the Ports. He used to work for P&O Ports and said that they have lots of VERY wide roads and at night there are hardly any trucks going past and they are private roads... hence no police cars

awesum meet last night fellas!!...i thorougly enjoyed myself and fianlly putting names to faces. enjoyed the convos and all the jargen talk from last night too. should have brought my camera along last night. pitty i missed out on the runs. hopefully next time, down by the port like you suggested iggy? and hopefully davidm, you'd still have that gtech timer/recorder. i'd like to see what my zed can do 0-60 with just my aps exhaust and replacement filter. you guys were making pretty alright times.

Iggy, Ports, are you refer to Port Melbourne some industry area? Are they private road there we can do our test?

I am referring to Melbourne Ports... ie P&O Ports area. Search for Coode Rd in West Melbourne. That's where I am talking about. The road is about 6 lanes wide and goes straight for 2 kms or so along all the containers. It's a private road from memory and at night there are very few trucks. I will do a scouting drive 2nite to check it out.
