Anyone use lube gaurd before? Im looking at putting some in my differential to help it out. Does it interfere with the materials in the diff?

Its a 2008. Yes, however im not sure what diff i have cause its a base model but acts like a 1.5 way.

A 2008 350Z base model came with an open diff. Is it possible a full LSD was installed by a previous owner? Have you jacked up the rear and checked it?

I look at it all the time but i dont know how to tell the differences. I assume theres some sort of code on it? I dont know if im just overloading the tires to get em to slip or if the diff is just old. If i step on the gas, let off then get back on itll break em loose pretty good. Occasionally i can just step on it and it does its job but most of the time its just one tire fire

Jack up the rear and support it on jack stands. Spin one wheel clockwise and see what the opposite side does. If it spins in the opposite direction, it's an open diff,. Conversely, if the opposite wheel spins in the same direction, than it's a LSD. Be sure to post up what you find.
