Sounds awesome to finally see Nissan catching up. Mitsubishi waited until 2003 to bring the Evo, Subaru followed up with the STI in 2004, and now 2008 the GT-R. I betcha the Supra and new NSX will make it's return in 2009(at least it would be nice to have more contenders).Following your logic there should be well over 140k skylines in total, which I don't think will be the case for the GTR. I think the number of units will depend heavily on the price (duh). If we see around a $70k price tag then I'd expect something around 1200 cars the first year to reach the US.
