About a month ago I decided it was time to trade in my daily driver, a Dodge Stealth. I looked a most every sporty car out there and did all my research. The Z was what I decided on as the best one for me. Before I bought one I serched several discussion boards. This one is by far the best (you already knew that). Thanks for all the info to help me make the right choice.

I couldn't find the exact one I wanted locally so I had the dealer locate me the perfect car. It is being delivered on Friday from Wyoming. A new 2004 (2% financing) Enthusiast model in LeMans Sunset. The only option I got were floor mats. I don't plan to make any 'improvements' or upgrades.

A little about me - I also have a couple of Porsche 914's. One is a 4 cyl. race car. The other is a street legal flared 3 liter 6 conversion with a full cage lots of goodies. I got the Z 'cause I wanted a fun, reliable daily driver with luxury options (like a heater and AC). I'm sure I will not be disappointed.

Welcome and congrats on the Z! You definitely won't be disappointed

The 914 is a fun car to drive... Just took me awhile to get used to it. Here's a pic of one that has been in my family for quite a while...

Hey Welcome to the board! My dad has a 993 and we go autocrossing together and I always see the 914s out there tearing up the course. I always liked how they look going around turns.

I am sure that you will enjoy your Z and it will make your porsche friends jealous.
