I just installed my V4 Kinetix Plenum. Im happy with it. The car accelerates smoother and a bit quick. I do have a question to all Kinetix Plenum owners. I was advised to expect it to be throatier of a sound and it did but its really throaty, nice but throaty almost "gargoly". Is that normal. When coming out on first it feels like a bit of a gorgle for 2 seconds then just the throaty sound. Im enjoying it but want to make sure that it is normal. It was professionaly installed but I still wanted to check. Also when I start the car I can feel it coming on stronger. Normal? I do have high flow cats, Nismo exhaust and many other mods. let me know I would appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will definately nitice that gargle and yes it is very noticeable. I went back to stock and realized how much louder it had made my car. Do make sure though that your plenum isnt hitting your strut bar.

Well the strut bar is resting on the plenum. Is there supposed to be like a space in between? It doesnt leave room for a space.

What you can do that worked for me is to place 1 or 2 washers under each of the 4 bolts that hold on each side of the strut bar.

Spacers are a good fix... I had to do the same thing, otherwise I could hear and feel the vibration. Pull you strut bar off and take it for a spin... se if there is any difference in the noise level.
