do you own a kinetix plenum?
have you noticed that the performance of your car dropped, and that its not responding like it used to be before?
well i can tell you what the problem is!

it was apparent that the screws of the cover on the plenum get loose after a couple of thousand miles you drive the car. as a result the air flow is leaking out of the plenum causing the car to lose HP.

tie them up and see the difference, the car will go back to its old performance guranteed.

The air doesn't leak out it's under vac. Additional air is getting into the intake that has bypassed the MAF. The effect is that the ECU is not adjusting fuel to account for the added air..Your right in making sure the plenum is tight..

Oh ****, its making the car run too lean.. Might I recommend wire-tie bolts? They are like regular bolts with a cotter-pin type setup clipped to a wire, which is wound around another bolt. With the wire in place, neither bolt can move. They use that kinda stuff a lot on airplanes (where its very important that bolts do not move lol).
