So i just installed a set of Top Speed test pipes, and i noticed that around in between 3-4k rpms, it gets really raspy. Is this normal, or could i potentially have an exhaust leak?

are they straight through or resonated? ive heard raspyness complaints from high flow cats and such.

The test pipes were straight through pipes..non resonated. I have heard that they get louder once burned in after a few hundred miles.

The raspiness is normal for straight test pipes. I have the Helix pipes, but they don't sound bad when idling or just normal cruising.

does the raspiness still exist with the stock exhaust? anybody have a sound clip?
thinking of doing test pipes and plenum spacer, heard it's the biggest bang for the buck mods

with just test pipes it will still be raspy... you will need some sort of resonator on them to keep that down... no way to avoid it.
