I just found some of this stuff. I was told that it is what they use instead of window tint in Japan.

Do they have that for the sides as well? How is visibility (looking out) with that stuff compared to regular tint?

HM, is that like the stuff that guys put in the back window of pickup trucks....most that I see these days have the flag on them, but you can see thru them? Know what I mean? Wonder if that would be illegal in PA like tint is.........prolly so fvckers....

Terri, yeah I know what ya mean.. looks like the same "netting" material. I've never rode in one that has had it, so no idea how visibility is.

But yeah, it probably is illegal. Its still considered tint. However, I wonder if their machines can read this material.. can't prove its illegal, can't issue a ticket!

I have no idea how it works..

self adhesive I believe. In the corners.

I don't think it's suppose to kling to the window.. just fit snug..

Got it all on.. Not TOOOO bad of an install..

this stuff is pretty forgiving also.. if you don't get it right , you can peel it back and try again..

it's well worth the money from Courtesy!

I lived in Japan for 4 years. They use tint just like us, the only thing is that you can NOT tint the front/side windows. NONE at all. I hated that. Looks like you can only afford half of the tint. <M>
