I have two ramps that I can back the Z onto to work underneath on the exhausts and stuff...but you can't drive up into the ramps to lift your front up if you wanted to work on headers. any suggestions how to get underneath the front of the car. plus,,do you need to use a power jack to lift up one end then place some stands there? very lost

I use the factory jack to lift the car up enough for me to slide my big jack under the front cross brace. Then lift the front up as high as I need too.

I do the same thing to jack mine up. Now when I need to jack up the entire car (see my sig) I just alternate front to back, jack it up enough in front to get the stands in place then go to the back and do the same thing. Little by little until it's to the height I need.

Or you could buy ramps made for low cars and lower front bumpers...like I have.

I drove my Z on to the ramps, then jacked up the rear, put the stands underneath, swung around to the front, jacked that up and put the other 2 stands there. Voila!

the factory jack points are very small. isn't there an upright metal piece where the jack needs to fit into.....then how do you use a power jack that has a completely flat surface on the bottom where the jack point is that isn't a flat surface....
