Hi, I have a 2006 350z touring model with the Brembo braking system, I need to put new pads in and I would like the opinion of some of you guys. I do not go to the track, I just drive country roads in California's wine country to and from work. I don't need the best of the best and I don't want to pay top dollar for the absolute best. I just want a good set of pads for my driving needs.

Suggestions?

thank you very much in advance.

Try Hawk pads from any autoparts store. There are other pads that are good for that kind of driving, but if you want something better than OEM that isn't too dusty, try the Hawks.

Here's a list from the wiki section that lists some pads: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Brake_Pads

Thank you very much for your direction.....

The Hawks sound good to me....Could I ask for one more suggestion, where is the place with the best prices you guys get your stuff from? I've found them on SVR sports for $145 for rear and front....

One other thing and I'm sorry if its not in the correct forum, are cold air intakes worth the money, can you really feel the difference in power?

Check to see if you can get the locally, that way you don't have to pay for shipping. I found my pep boys don't carry MY size in stock, but they can get them from the warehouse in one day and that doesn't cost you any more money.

CAI: Ur gonna feel it in the butt dyno  But it's not going to make a significant difference in HP gains, but you'll feel a whole lot cooler  LOL

or you can spend a little more and get some endless pads for your brembo's......that is if you want it to brake like you have 4 boat anchors!!!! i heard this is the best way to get the most of your brembos from a member on this forum illz33

Does anyone have experience with Centric Posi Quiet brake pads (ceramic)? I have a 2005 35th Anniversary model and use it as a daily ride. I don't drive particularly hard and yearly take maybe 3-4 trips on some back roads as well as in the mountain for a little fun. These pads were free, so I can't beat the price, but I am not familiar with their durability, dust generation, and most important, their performance.

Any comments?????
