hey guys
i need some help as soon as possible.
my 03 350 has been in the shop for a little over a week for some minor body work.(fender bender) any crap the place i took it to ive taken it to many times, i know every one by name etc. well i jump in my car and start it up i notice it was running really rough. i thought well it has been sitting for over a week, maybe it just needs to work itself out. well i go to leave and it gets worse. i usually step on it in first gear and the tires break loos , today in the rain it wouldnt hard ly move.

so im wondering, injectors dirty from sitting? water condensing in the tank? wtf i need toi know what i might be able to do before i go to get it looked at for big $$$$. and by the way i have the unlimited tuning carbon intake tube. i had the tube on for about a week before i took it in, and it ran fine. and lastly i checked the mileage so i know no one has driven it.
thanks guys

well i highly doubt the intake is the issue, i would be very curious to know if the shop did something to your car while you were gone. i havent driven my car for 2 weeks and got back and she ran great!

are you getting any check engine lights?
what kind of gas are you using?

i have the CF intake tube from them and had no issues what so ever

it was a small hit on the drivrers side door/ fender area. i cant imagine where they would have had to disconect the maf. if so should i just try it?
i have about 40k on my z so the warranty is up. yes the check engine light is on it stays solid at start up but as i drive it blinks. i use 93 or higher gas.
thanks

Maybe some vacuum lines are disconnected. That happened to me once after I picked it up from a Nissan shop to get some injectors and O2 sensors replaced; they 'forgot' *cough, BS!* to reconnect all of them.

what causes injectors and 02 sensors to go bad?

Like everything else mechanical, they just do that. I had them replaced on my Z32 after I moved from Montreal to Minneapolis. I had heard that the gas in Canada had special additives which would ruin the rubber o-rings on the injectors of older cars, so now they're made of plastic. And O2 sensors eventually get worn out.
