So I started noticing this about a week from today, but my 03 Touring model seems to be revving too high for the gear that it's in; for example I am able to fully release the clutch in first gear and then gas it later without it stalling, or when I shift into 4th gear my car will sit at over 5k rpm at only 45 mph. I know it's vague but I don't really know how else to describe it.

Your description is confusing. Do you mean that the VQ stays at an elevated level once you release the clutch at speed? Remember that there is a momentary flywheel effect (the VQ likes a lot of rotational mass to produce power) once the clutch is released.

Or are you asking about a worn clutch? Is the clutch slipping after you release the pedal?

Anybody there?
