Jaysen if you are looking at that price range and want an Alpine I would highly suggest the 9833. Best cd player I have owned.

I can vouch for the Alpine line, absolutely sick..

However, In case you don't know, Alpine has a HU that is XM Inside (Not "XM Ready" - but has the reciever in the radio built in!).

So All you need is an XM antennae (like $30 or so) and a subscription, and you'll be stylin with satellite radio, right there in your HU. Maximum power output, sound, clarity, and ease of controllability.

Currently, I have an Alpine 9820XM, and I have just ordered THIS so I can interface my iPod right into my HU. All the new Alpine decks do this, also.

So if you want to run CD's, AM/FM, Satellite radio, AND MP3's, the 9820XM is a perfect all-in-one for a super clean look.

I've always stuck with Alpine. Never had a problem and the sound quality is always excellent. Good choice Jaysen.

I need to be upgrading my POS stock HU soon.

What did you do to your HU Jaysen?????

I like this one but it's kinda pricey....$750

"Sony's top-of-the-line double-din CD/MDLP combo head unit. Displays Kana/English characters on a 728-color capable screen! HX DSPIII, Pre-Amp Outputs, Hi/Lo Pass Filters. This model integrates very well with Acura RSX & Nissan 350Z dash boards - you can match the color to your instruments & the circular design looks stock!"

Jinxxy- I've seen that Sony before. The illumination and design would look great in a Z!

Isn't that one only available in Japan though?

It is available here also Track. I think you have to buy an fm modulator though which is just a few $ extra to get the fm reception to work on it.
