It should be noted that different types of pads require different bedding techniques. Street pads are typically bedded in as described in the link. However, many race pads need a different bedding technique that Zeckenhaus describes (4 additional 80/100-10 stops). For race pads, 2 laps of moderate pedal pressure, followed by two laps of hard pedal pressure, followed by two laps of light pedal pressure, and then another pair of moderate pressure should suffice. It's ideal to let the pads "cure" for another 24 hours after that.
