HKS Supercharger

It would be interesting to see a tuned HKS kit. I would have to assume all the examples we have seen is the pre-tuned kit from HKS where all the Vortech installs have been tuned by a tuner.

From the dynos we have seen of the HKS kit the top end is where it is lacking but is this because of the pre-tune from HKS. We will only know when someone decides to tweek the HKS unit and then we can compare apples with apples.

This is true. I have done some calculations on the Rotrex unit and the amount of improvement available to stay within the rotational impeller limits of the parts. Basically their is not much room. HKS has modified the standard compressor housing with their own trim but IMHO I also think it will never flow enough to match the ATI/APS/Vortech kits if high HP is required. Unfortunately I cannot get my hands on a flow map of the modified unit.
