It would be interesting to see a tuned HKS kit. I would have to assume all the examples we have seen is the pre-tuned kit from HKS where all the Vortech installs have been tuned by a tuner.

From the dynos we have seen of the HKS kit the top end is where it is lacking but is this because of the pre-tune from HKS. We will only know when someone decides to tweek the HKS unit and then we can compare apples with apples.

Micheal, I think you will find that the HKS unit will be very limited in it's future power increase capability when compared to the bigger centrifugal superchargers (Vortech and ATI) as the rotrex/HKS unit has very limited mass air flow increase potential.

From what I have seen on the rotrex S/C previously (have used them on holden and Ford V8 engines) I think you will find that the HKS S/C will have superior low rpm power though from there on in the bigger centrifugal superchargers will produce the best power in the mid to high rpm.

Would be very interesting to see the torque and power curves of all of the popular S/C systems on the identical fuel octane and tested on the same day and dyno.
