Hey fellas

A few of you may remember i was interested in buying a Z a while ago

I sold my Z4 to finance some investments with my bro and now im finally in a position to buy a second car again

Ive just sold my beloved and impeccably maintained 156, i had it for 5 years since new, and was the first car i ever owned. A little emotional if you cant tell, but it does give me the freedom to buy something new now. I did remove all my audio gear (a good 15K worth of equipement) which ill be putting into the next car

We bought a used C43 early in the week which ill use as a daily driver and share with my dad when he doesnt want to drive his SL55, and now am looking to buy a compromised sports car for my next modding project

Im going to go out over the weekend and test drive the new anniversary Z, i would like to buy a new car. Im thinking there's really nothing else you can buy for similar money that is rwd and potential for modding. There are all those STis and Evos, but i think as a Jap car the Z has a bit more brand cache (yep ill admit im a euro snob :helpsmilie: ). Plus when not fanging, the humble $19,990 driveaway origins would really make me get over the car in a hurry

Can anyone recommend any Nissan dealers in Melb?

I cannot recommend one as I bought mine private sale, but I did not find my exprience @ Brighton Nissan very pleasant when I went in to see if they could offer me a good trade in and good price on a new Track model about 6 months ago. Reasons:

1. They took me for a test drive that they said was a "demo" - had 15,000kms on it, was obviously 2nd hand (was in 2nd hand lot) and worst of all, had a very loud clikcing sound from the right rear corner under braking.

2. Dealer knew NOTHING about the car... got the power figures wrong, a few other details.

3. I had to sit and wait for a dealer for 20 mins.

Just my personal experience... I think it varies from person to person.

Sorry couldn't be more helpful...

Hey Richie......

woh man just reading your mod list

you've been busy :OMG:

I want to drive one again, its been a while

Apart from the engine, what are the differences with the anniversary over the regular Track? Have there been any improvements over the last couple years, i remember ages ago there was that seatbelt rattle and the window grease streaks. Would all those little things be fixed on the 05 model?

Hey Sam welcome back, may the Zed be with you bro!
I second with Richie, Gary Rogers they have an anniversary spec. model in the showroom at the moment, plus they seem to be a mod friendly dealer.

Cheers
