Just wanted to say hi. I've been lurking around here doing some research before I buy my 350Z. I'm looking into getting a used '04 in March. But before I go shopping I need to start parting out my car and sell it.

Currently I own a '00 S2000 with 35k miles and a few minor mods:
Spoon-style carbon fiber snorkel with Sprint Air Filter
Cusco front lower brace
Speed strut tower bar
OEM front & rear spoilers
JDM black chrome badges
Grille-Tech grill for the fake side vents
Some minor audio upgrades
Team Voodoo engraved counter sunk shift knob
JDM clear sidemarkers

Here's the only pic that I have:

The S2000 has been good to me, but it's time to for a newer car. I like the fact that the Z has more interior room than the S2K and more torque especially low end torque. I've been looking into the Touring and Enthusiast trim so far.

I've been reading up on the Z for a little awhile now and eventhough I haven't made a purchase yet I've made a little wish list of goodies to add to the car.
So far it's:

Data Systems rear spoiler or Nismo rear wing
Nismo front lip spoiler
Hotchkis or Nismo sway bars
clear or smoked side markers
JWT Popcharger
Nismo exhaust

I remember the Bus Stop and Chaunceys! We used to hit BT's and Arnolds and then the Bus Stop for $0.25 Natty Lights.

Didn't Chaunceys have the Crusty (the cinnamon bun shaped pizza roll), the ultimate late night drunk snack food?

The Veilside V1 is sharp looking on the 350Z. I have a friend that has it on his S2K and it looks great. How's the fitment on the 350Z?

Dave079, nice car BTW.

Thanks Hokie. Fitment is great. only took me 5 minutes to install. Just a couple screws and some 3m tape thats already on it and you are set. I do have eurethane though. Im not sure of fitment issues with the CF or fiberglass.

I definitely would like to stick with urethane for a front lip. I think that it's more forgiving compared to fiberglass or carbon fiber.

I once saw guy on the auto x course last year that had a amuse fiberglass lip on his S2K completely shatter after he hit a cone head on.

I highly agree with the urethane thing. I have seen way too many crack badly and there isnt much you can do about it but buy a new one. Makes to be a very expensive mistake.

Welcome aboard, Hokie!

I've got the Touring. When I was shopping, I was looking at anything 'above' the Performance (including the Perf). I actually use the cruise control, and since I'm in Minnesota, the heated seats come in handy.
