I found oil in my number one spark plug well, so I decided to do my valve covers. I bought brand new valve covers and valve cover gaskets. I replaced those, ignition coil’s,spark plugs, while doing this I found a broken fuel injector plug on #1injector. I watched a video on utube and it talked about knock sensor being bad , so I took off my intake manifold and tried to unplug the sensor and the jacks blew out of the back of the pig tail, plus I found a wire ready to break in half. So I replaced the knock sensor sub harness and the fuel injection harness. I took my time and put it a back together, the right way. I got p0300, multiple cylinder misfire. But it started and ran . Rough idle and back firing but she ran. I tore her down again to find the mis-firing cylinder and discovered I’d been sold the wrong fuel injectors. I’m so stressed out. HELP

Take some time and get your thoughts together. Sometimes, I put everything down, shut off the lights and get some rest. Overnight, my subconcious mind analyzes the problem and comes up with some plans of action. You'll need to take the injectors back to the auto parts store and source the right ones. It could be that the P0300 code is causing the misfire due to the wrong spec. I'd start by replacing those first and then seeing if the misfire improves.

I rebuilt the original injectors, cleaned the injectors bore and took my time , replaced all of the gaskets, intake manifold, plenum, new breather hose, she’ll start but wanted to stall. I checked the plugs, NGK G power platinum are correct. The knock sensor sub harness I bought was used , it looks good no frayed wire. I just don’t get it . It seems the more I put into it the worst she gets. Thanks for your reply, I know when I get stressed, dropping a bolt or a spacer , if I step back for awhile and try again, I get it done right. I know I haven’t done anything wrong. I’m a perfectionist.

Sounds like you took the right approach, but perfectionism can lead to frustration (don't I know it), so take a step back. As for spark plugs, you may want to read this thread on the latest NGK product:

Thanks she was flooded, from the wrong injectors, I kicked back, thought about everything I had done, I knew I did it right, putting her back together. Woke up,got in put the keys in the ignition and she fired right up , check engine light came on until she warmed up, then turned off, she sputtered a few times then started purring like she did before.

Oh it did a throttle body relearn and now she won’t start. I have a feeling it’s the plugs. Also everything I purchased on EBay was wrong and had to be returned. Trying to save a dime cost me a dollar. Lesson learned, only use reliable sources for parts.

Nice photos- but did it start and run SMOOOOTH afterwards?
No it started and idled in the driveway for a long time , drove it to Baxter Automotive, used code reader and p0300, and p0165 ECM/ECU malfunction. I’ve read that can be VVT related, and I can hear a vacuum leak. I’m gonna check it out this weekend and if I can’t find it myself, I may have to take to a Nissan specialist. My friend Mike has a snap- on code reader, he builds custom motors for someone, he’s gonna help me today. I’ll keep you informed. Thanks 🙏 Geno

Wow, read another thread on p0300 guy mentioned 4-6 wires easy to mix up , well I had 4 on 6 6 on 4, switch and fired right up no missing, mis fire or check engine light, but it’s stalling on me like it’s not geeky fuel. I did change the fuel damper and it was really hard to do because it was filthy, I think it’s an o ring issue, fuel pressure damper to injector rail passenger side can’t find the right o ring on the hard line tube.

Getting fuel not geeky, spell check

Your spell check is pretty wonky, replacing "getting" with "geeky". I agree on your assessment that continuous fuel flow remains the problem. But if it's an O-ring problem, I wonder why you're not seeing (and smelling) a fuel leak.

There was a fuel smell because of installing the wrong injectors, but it’s gone now. I can hear my fuel pump winding up when I start the car. It’s getting fuel to a point, then there’s a point where I try and accelerate and she does. If I can’t find it today by myself, I’ll be taking it to the dealership. And boy, I don’t trust them at all.

New Iridium double platinum plugs, everything is new. P0300 multiple cylinders misfire, corrected it, vnext day running fine then I get po305, # 5 cylinder misfire, cleared the code , she ran again, I go to Baxter Auto and I’m bragging about it running again, started to drive away and it stalls. Get it home , work on it, and seems to be running again. I drove it for an hour or so, and now I get code p0340 camshaft sensor. It’s jumping a different code every day.I’m ready to take it to a shop here in Portland. I found the o ring I need for the hard line to fuel rail passenger side. And I replaced the PCV valve. Still stalls under pressure. Fuel related.
