Terri, go for the billet grill (not black). What's the point of getting a black one that no one can see against BY? You already have a factory black grill...

BTW, do you have a front license plate?

See I think the same way! I like the billet grille, and the fact that it is a bolt on, and not installed w/ zip ties. It is powder coated too.

No front plate, I am lucky b/c PA is a one plate state, you can't even get a second plate if you wanted one.....
When I got Lucy they had put the front bracket on even tho I asked them NOT to, but after the accident(s) I don't have it on there anymore, just dimples! I wish I could fill those in too....they are annoying.

I like the door edge guard DIY best.
The Stillen is nice, not sure on BY though.

What is the point of upgrading a black grille to a black grille? Yeah, it'll be stealth cause it will look stock and no one will notice it and since it's not giving you extra performance or really altering the look, it ends up being rather pointless. Just my 2 cents

I am really wanting to get a new grille for Lucy.  I really like this one I found on the stillen website, but I can get it off of mytightride.comfor $170 vs $240 (stillen price).  Same mfg.

Doug thinks black would look good on the BY.

Any opinions?

Don't get black!

BTW, the website you refer to sounds like a porn site. What's the deal?

For that kind of money, buy the Veilside V1 lip.

I wish I could get rid of the grill all together so that it would look more like a race car, but the front part of the engine compartment has a lot of stuff hanging of of it and it might look like ass.

Definitely don't get the black grille! I'm with DiRN: if it's not a performance upgrade, and nobody is going to notice it, what's the point?

Personally, I have the CA grille on my car. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, that stands for cheap ass. The pep boys door molding looks freakin hot though. It's got some bling, but doesn't take up the whole space like the Stillen grilles. I actually prefer it to all aftermarket grille's I've seen. IMO, the only thing that would look better in that location would be an intercooler, and I don't have the cash for the 6000 dollar price jump.

Instead of starting my own thread, I'm going to bump this one :bump:

I know Jinx already got a grille, but now I'm looking for one.

I'm looking at doing the CA (cheap ass) grille as mentioned above. What product is that from pepboys, and can I buy it online? We don't have a pepboys anywhere around here and I can't find the correct door molding. Can anyone help me?

This is the best looking and cheapest option if you ask me. I'm just trying to find out exactly what part was used.

all you need is a TRUCK door molding , dont get the regular ones since they're smaller and wont fit over your grill..
check your local auto store , Strauss , Pep boys , auto zone...
If you want them to stick better , add some clear silicone under them
