As for the old hood it looks like a old s-10 hood.I like the new style hood much better.

GREAT NEWS!!!! THE 2007 350Z HOOD FITS BEAUTIFULLY ON MY 2003 350Z! i will be posting pics in the next few days!!! so spread the word to anyone who needs to know if the 07 hood fits on the older Z's.

JMO, but you'd better change to tails to the leds. Otherwise the car will scream "poseur" more than just changing the hood. Post up the pics.....

For the expense and hassle i would have gone for an aftermarket hood but as long as you like it I guess that is what matters, now you look like an 07 Z, unique.....

I would agree I would not spend the money to make my car look like stock but if that is what you want its cool

everyone i talked to at the nissan dealership in burnsville said, "i don't think it will fit" - dumb *****

I do collision repair for a living the 07 hood will fit the older Zs but the old hood will not fit an 07 Z.

The VQ35HR is physically taller, with a twin intake plenum that won't fit underneath the earlier Z33 hood. Nissan planned for this when they introduced the HR in the '07-08 mid-model renovation.

Ohhh ok, I kinda like the de hood more tbh... looks more aerodynamic. Oh well. The hr hood is cool too. It reminds me of the Datsun.
