Just wanted to say hello on my first post. I just bought a black on black 2003 touring with navigation, areo package, and 6 speed three months ago. I just graduated from Auburn University and took my first job. I always wanted a sports car since I was able to know what a car was. That was the first thing I bought out of college. I plan on a few mods after saving up some money. I ran across this site looking for parts. This has to be the greatest automotive website that I have ever seen. Congrats on everyone that is a part of it. My goal is to make a "sleeper" 350 to an extent. I would like it to look stock for the most part on the outside and have a lot of work done on the inside. Here are some of my ideas so far, what do you think? I'm leaning more towards the Greddy twin turbo kit rather than a supercharger (hope some of you guys will let me know if that is a good decision). I like the Tein coilovers with the EDFC unit. I haven't decided what big brake kit to get (Stoptech, Brembo, Baer, AP Racing). My first purchase will probably be UO Racing underdrive pulleys. The exhaust I really haven't figured that one out either. I like SSR GT3, Volk SF Racing Challange, and HRE 845R's as the wheel package. Inside the car I want to replace the factory speakers with Focal Utopia components. I plan of taking the Bose 10" speaker out and fiberglassing a 12" in its place. Amp wise I will probably go with a US Amp or Soundstream. I plan on keeping my factory radio just for the look. That is about it so far for my plans. Now all I have to do is rob that bank you guys were talking about. I want to thank everyone on here for all the information and I hope during my ongoing project I can contribute back. Thanks again and let me know what you think so far.

Welcome to the site. Check out the various forums for information on all the mods you are evaluating. All of the mods you are considering are discussed in pretty good detail, and several of the members have first hand experience. Good luck.

Welcome aboard dude. There are some great and really helpful people here.

There is a reviews section in the works that will review everything single Z product known to man. Once the new one's back up, you should definitely check it out. The GReddy's about to get some TT competition.

Welcome to the forum...
Gaining knowledge from other enthusiasts is what led me here. I'm partial to the HRE's, but now that APS is soon to be shipping their twin turbo, I'd suggest you wait and see how those installs progress before making a forced induction decision. The R&D guys over there seem to know what they're doing and hopefully that TT will be a success. Nothing against supercharging, I'm just more familiar with turbos.

Z-Tech is a mature, helpful site I'm sure you will profit from.

Good luck with your career and your Z...kenny

Thanks for the support guys. I will be looking at that APS kit soon. It will be a few months before I can afford one anyway. Everyone here is like a big family. Back where I grew up no one ever shared any information with what they did to their car, even to their best friends. I do have a couple of questions though. Where is the cheapest place anyone has found to buy some underdrive pulleys and what is the "top speed" of the 350Z. I've had mine up to 158 and ran out of road. I think it would do more but I'm not sure.

Hey, welcome aboard!!!

The top speed of the Z is "supposed" to be limited at 156 MPH, however several people, like yourself, have posted speeds above that. I'll bet the Z is about out of breath in the 160's. You're a brave man for putting it up that high. It's not the speed, it's the time it takes to get there and the window for disaster. Nice going!

I appreciate the complement. It is such a rush for me to go that fast. They always say speed kills. Well really speed isn't the problem, it is the sudden stops that will get you! I always have to see just how fast my car can go, but that was close enough for me.
