Hi Folks, I'm in the final stages of getting a 350Z Performance coupe. I've been thinking about the Z, the RX-8, and the G-35. I'm looking for a nice toy that I'll be able to enjoy driving to work and autocrossing for years to come. Its not my only car, so when the weather gets bad, I'll drive something else. I was struggling with not having any back seats, but again, I've got other cars for that. I'm giving up my 90 Corrado G-60, it was a fun car, but I wanted to step up to the plate with a real sports car. I've a relative who's a Nissan employee and he helped me get a sweet deal on a '98 Maxima SE 5-sp. I bought it new and its hands down the nicest car and most troublefree car I've ever owned and an excellent family car to boot. Even after 105K on the odometer it still runs very well. I've got high expectations for the quality of the Z and I hope it won't dissapoint. I've driven the other cars and I must say that the torque in the VQ is fantastic. The RX-8 is a nice car and handles well, but frankly my Corrado has more torque and I wanted to step up. My relative is again getting me a sweet deal and frankly its too much to pass up. I'm a motorhead and I do my own wrenching, so I hope to be able to add as much here as I get. Cheers, rocketrich
