What should be used on the head lights and tail lights to get the water to bead just like when the Z is waxed?

Rain-X warns that it might damage some plastics. Is the Z's headlights / taillights plastics OK or not?

Wax seems to leave a film. Unless I have not found the right kind.

Any info welcome.

I use Zaino Z-2, Z-5 and/or Z-6. They work fine.

+1 Use a polymer sealant instead of wax. Wax doesn't last nearly as long and can sometimes be a pain in the ass to get out of the seams of the lenses. If you don't feel like ordering a sealant, go to your local auto store and pick up Meguire's #20 Polymer sealant. I use it and it works great.

I've used wax before and never had a problem. I also use 3M glass cleaner on the headlight housing, and I think there's an extra sparkle to the cleanliness.
