On April 29th, 2008 I ordered the Aerosync bumper for my 350z.
I was told they were out of stock, but should show up the following Friday. I thought that was fine.. and made my order.
The following Friday came, so I called to get an update. No arrival.. they told me to wait until the middle of next week and they should be in by then. I got a big load of B.S. about how long it takes to make bumper and yada yada.. basically nothing that told me why they misquoted my shipping date or how they could verify when it would actually arrive.
I waited until that Friday and called to get another update..
This time I spoke with a guy that was actually decent to talk to on the phone. he said they SHOULD be arriving later on that day.
So yesterday I called back to get a status.. and I was told they did not arrive and that they would probably show up on Friday, and if not, the middle of next week. By this time I had had enough.
I have been waiting to fix my car for 3 weeks now, paying to drive a rental car as I wait on these guys to ship my bumper I paid for in full weeks ago.
I'm then told I'll be charged a 6% processing fee for canceling my order. I argue that I shouldn't be charged any type of fee because i wasn't told of that when I ordered the bumper, and it isn't listed on their website in the order/return/shipping guidelines. The guy gets really rude and starts explaining why it takes a long time to make the bumpers again. I get no where with him, he won't let me speak at all. He eventually becomes quite short and angry. Explaining that I got a good deal from dealing with their sales guy, Kyong, on a different Z forum and the 6% wouldn't be that much. He asks me once more if I want to cancel my order. I say yes and he hangs up on me.
I don't know when I'm being issued my refund.. but i did get an email showing I'm only being issued a refund around $350 when I first issued a payment for $379.
Turns out this guy is the SALES MANAGER..
He lacked any bit of professionalism, and I certainly won't do business with Gruppe-S and or it's affiliate Dynamic Autosports ever again. I work for a Nissan dealership and I'm the guy people come to when it comes to Z modification.. and I will also relay this message to them.
I'm still trying to contact the owner of the company, and have asked Kyong to relay that contact information to me. We'll see if anyone from the company makes this right.
