For a while now I have been grinding into fifth gear with my 2003 track model. So I'm guessing my synchros may be shot? I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their transmissions, since I seem to remember hearing that some people went through a few trannys. I was also wondering that if I had the clutch/flywheel replaced a few months ago (replacement was factory), that Nissan may attribute the wear and tear on the tranny, to the abuse on the clutch and refuse to cover the replacement. If I do bring it to Nissan I will go to a different dealer than the one that replaced my clutch, although I dont know if they check recrods of other repairs everytime you go to a Nissan dealer? Anyone have any suggestions?
