Gettin on the highway, took 3rd to redline, quickshifted (not powershifted) into 4th, and got a little crooked! About as entertaining as it was scary, as I was doin around 90-ish when I shifted out of 3rd. Anyone else (that isn't FI) ever lose traction in 4th?

Can't say that I have... impressive. I imagine that would be a little scary.

only on the track :dunno:

was it dry out? cold tires?

Yup, dry. Cold out (33 degrees indicated). Tires were warmed up to about +2lbs all around. It was neat, but not somethin I'm gonna try to replicate!

Nice! In a straight line too? Wow.. you pushin' mad powa, Jet.

I was spinning them the other day just by throttling it in a straight line. But it was because it's soooo freakin cold out. :)

No - I haven't had any 4th gear traction issues.

Matter of fact, I'm losing confidence in shifting too aggressively.

The last few times I've done so, I can feel some wheel hop. Not a good thing.

My Mach 1 never transmitted that to me. (solid axle)

I don't want an issue with the service dept on hard driving resulting in warranty BS. :shiftdrive:
