i saw $2.759 for a gallon of 91 octane at the union 76 station at ventura blvd. & sherman oaks ave. (los angeles suburb) yesterday! went around the corner and filled up my rental nissan murano (vq35de detuned from 350z) with 91 octane for the "bargain" price of $2.649/gal--18.875 gals.

Total cost exactly $50.00 !!!!!!!!

I am so glad I live in one of the cheaper gas price areas. Premium is going for around 2.10 right now on average.

We're still lucky enough to have 93 octane and also lucky enough to only be at about $2.30 for 93. I ran mine **** near bone dry the other day and it cost over $49 to fill it up. :scared:

i think the oil companies jack the prices rediculously high like this so that the can lower them by 15 cents and we'll all think we're getting a great deal. The thing is that it's still 15 cents higher than it was to start with.

I'm dumb, I just did the math and realized that there is not way jsut over 17 gal tank could cost $49 to fill up at $2.30. But it could (does) cost about $39. Guess i should get my eyes checked.

**** Richard, $2.65/gal for 91 octane? I thought I had it bad. I get 93 octane for $2.42/gal, usually cost me about $35 to fill since I don't let it run to far below 1/4 tank. When will it end. This is ridiculous!

I'm paying on tuesdays only when the gas station around here has 6 cents off day for premium. Ends up at just about 2.10 for 93 octane.

Oh yeah, and why in the name of all that is holy are you putting 91 octane in a rental? I know it's a murano, but I'm sure you're the only one babying it!

Gas Prices are a joke.

Since I only drive my Z on week-ends I can usually go a full month before I have to fill up

Must be nice. Its my daily driver.

Oh no kidding. I got to school up at Berkeley and the gas is $2.69 for 91 at Chevron up there. I come back home to LA and find that gas is also $2.69 for 91 up here! What gives?!

I put 101 octane race gas in my N/A modded 350Z whenever possible. It costs $3.99 per gallon at an independent gas station in Van Nuys, CA (near my ex-wife and kids' house). The price of 101 has not gone up one penny in the past few months, while 91, 89, and 87 octane have gone wild in Calif.
