The OEM fuel filler cover seems rather frail. Are there any after market options? Like something in a brushed aluminum look.

Myself I have never seen one on a Z. Personally I would not add one to our cars.

I thought he meant the door cover itself. My bad. If the gas cap that Performance sells would fit correctly I would possibly opt for it.

I have only seen someone selling a CF wrapped one, IMO I think putting a brushed alum one on it would be reminiscent of the eclipse, but that's just me...

Might work in the trunk of my Nova, since I shaved the UG-lee fuel door on it...

It's for INSIDE the trunk. I wouldn't put a hunk a iron like dat on my pretty, black lacquered quarter panel!

& def not on my Z! The doorhandles are bad enough.
