I've had this sound for a while now, I just figured it was my K&N Typhoon Intake moving a hair or something, but now I've noticed it's something else because I'm not moving fast/hard enough to make the K&N go anywhere, so it must be something else.

I just happen to run across a similar topic/comment elsehwere, and I just thought I would check in to see if anyone knows anything about this as well.

Thanks

I had a similar problem that might be your problem. Mine was when stopping or taking off. There would be a pop or clunk type sound from the front drivers side. Turned out the upper control arm needed re-torqueing. No further problems.

I hope this helps.

Hey 350Z...the mechanic told me they had a new torque spec and the reason I was getting the popping sound was because the control arm wasn't tightened enough which let it move some under upward or downward stress. I no longer have the problem and believe me I have tried to make it replicate itself.
