Took some time, but after some tuning, got back on the dyno with the Kinetix SSV IM. Pic compares Kinetix V4, Kinetix IM "Prototype" and finally Kinetix SSV IM.

Yes! It was all in the tuning. Wish I would have been doing some datalogging with my Zeitronix. Boost between 6-7 pounds. I have done nothing with the pulley. Albuquerque temp on pulls #74 and #77 back in February was in the 60's. Yesterday in the mid to upper 90's.

I know he does, I was just saying that this manifold makes more power than the Stillen stage one .. He came close to doubling his own power :OMG:

tuning is a very big part of this as well.

you realize that you aren't going to get 80HP with a NA Z.....right?

I've been following this since it started, this manifold is stricktly FI, I didn't like the NA numbers compared to the price but it's worth every penny for the FI people.

i know....i've followed the whole thing as well.

i just didn't see how your comment about this making as much HP as the stillen supercharger fit in. if you add this to any supercharger....it will probably increase the numbers drastically. (but, since the stillen supercharger is on top....not sure how this would work). it's comparing apples to oranges.

I didn't think I need to explain my self that many times!! I'm simply stating that the manifold is making lots of power it's like having another supercharger.. I didn't say anything about using the manifold with the stillen kit because both of them replace the plenum!! I was just comparing numbers... makes since now?

That's really impressive! I'm wondering if with proper tuning, ie A/F Ratio, CAI, headers, exhaust, and ECU upgrade we can see a 20-27 hp potentially on a NA Z. Well, I guess this sums it up, the investment is a good one, I'm sold!

Sung, are they still considering the addition of a direct port for NOS? :irock:

Cheers

I believe it has three ports for direct port NOS! I have mine sittin in my garage and I would have bout this again if it gave me 12whp. It's a beautiful piece.

and i could say that a 75 shot of nos makes as much HP as a TT.....but, still comparing apples to oranges. i just didn't really see a point to that comment. my bad. no need to get huffy.

It has it! You can use the 3rd port, which comes plugged for NOS or Boost Gauge. In the future, Kinetix could provide additional ports if requested.
