is anyone in here having the 7years/100K miles extend warranty? is it worth the extra money? :shiftdrive:

I have a 84 month 100,000 mile. I figured if anm going to own a car that I wanted to add to that I might as well get a good warranty on it. BIG BIG plans for the future.

its kool that you got it, but what about if you throw a TT or SC on it? it will be voided then

The extended warranty is just like the regular warranty, only longer. So if you're waiting for the warranty to run out to get into FI, an extended warranty is only going to prolong the wait. If that isn't a concern of yours, having the extended warranty can be a good thing. I, for one, have taken advantage of the extended warranty on my Si a few times

Gold Plan (the top one) cost $2200. 7years/100K. They also come with 0 interest for 12 months. I think i should get it since it will be EXPENSIVE to fix the Z later.

Im "living on the edge" with no extended warranty. If anything happens I can get it fixed cheap since I AM the service department at the dealership.

I got the Gold plan 7/100k also but paid like $1050. It added only $7-$8 more per month to get it so it was hard to pass up given my inexperience with Nissan vehicles. My wife is extra paranoid so we had to go with something.

But we also went into it stating that we were going to get the coverage through our credit union...he dropped his price after that. The finance dude was actually pretty cool which is why I think we got it so cheaply.

But the price probably has a lot to do with where you live.
