With the winter coming in NE region, leaves are just everywhere. This morning I put on my K&N filter and found out there are few big leaves in the filter box. I wonder how much HP I lost because of that...not sure if it's a placebo effect or what but with the leaves out and K&N filter I do feel a little smoother on 1st.

When I had my stock box I'd find little things, not big leaves tho. I read on another forum once, some dude found a dollar bill in there!!! I found a couple of cig butts and a very large dead wasp in mine, that's the biggest things I found.

Could have been worse Terri - could have been a large alive and pissed-off wasp!

Yeah I checked mine when I took it off to put on my pop charger. Nothing major, just a few leaves, cig butts, and a random flier for a strip club. Guess my Z was trying to tell me something

I had quite a few leaves in it last time i checked..
not sure if it made much of a diff when i pulled them out though

Yeah, I pull huge leaves out of my box all the time. Just goes to show how well our stock intake sucks cold outside air. I also use a K&N drop in filter. Don't know if I really feel a difference, but it does sound a bit cooler.

.... yeah I never really understood that either.
