Electronically controlled suspension?

I apologize if this has been covered somewhere else. I had the pleasure of going to the '04 SEMA show. There were two boths that interested me in particular. Both had electronically controlled ride height and dampening suspensions. I believe one of the booths was Tein, but I forget the other. I've seen and read all about Tein's EDFC, but I'm more iterested in being able to adjust the ride height on the fly, and I believe EDFC only controls dampening. One of the manufacturers even offered a wireless remote to make the changes. Can anyone help me find these or similar suspension systems? :helpsmilie:

The only thing i know that does that is airbags.. They are more for Ghetto thug Escalades than for a Z. It is basically an inflatable balloon that you fill or empty based on the ride height you want.

I have never seen performance suspension that is height adjustable on the fly. If you run across it let us know!

There are a few out there Josh.. The company RUF (Porsche tuners) offers a height adjustable suspension, so the car can clear obstacles and speed bumps.

Mercedes-Benz does similar things with airbags.. they can either firm up the ride or soften it, so they are performance oriented.

It isnt common, but companys are out there that do it..
there is praxis. but hey only have bmw and wrx applications. do a search at www.tirerack.com

to translate this website, go to www.bablefish.altavisata.com. put the url in the correct place, then translate from japanese to english. leave it up to the japanese to make what we all want, and very few can afford: $3900.00 retail! still better than some ghetto arse air bags...... aahahah. we will start selling the kits at $3500.00 + ground shipping inside of the U.S.... it will take approximately 90 days to acquire these bad boys, however, so patience patience....
Thanks guys. I'm going to look into this. The last thing I wanted was airbags.
If you do it, I want to be there to watch.

So exactly how will these work? What is the expected life of the kit?
Lot of dough for an "unknown" product. Any info that you can give us would be helpful.
From what I saw it pretty slick. It was an a 330CI and looked to have a good 2.5" of travel. But I'm not able to translate this page, and like to learn more. I'm very interested 1ntenze. Also, I know these guys aren't the only game in town. I saw two seperate manufacturers doing essentially the same thing. And one of them quoted my about $2.5-3k.
