Black after APS Exhaust ...

OK, so your dyno was not pulled in thew 'shootout' mode which makes it incomparable with anyone elses dyno. Not a problem at all, as even pulls in 'shootout' more are not really comparable unless they are from the same dyno and preferably from the same day.

What gear were the 'pulls' made in? I'm guessing 4th by the speed reading at the bottom, but the scale seems to be off as my 4th gear goes to 180kph, and yours (with 7000rpm cut-out) should go to more like 190kph. According to the graph the pull was made up to ~175kph befoe they backed of the throttle (ie. they did not go to redline). Though, I don't think that is the case as I'd pressume that they did run all the way to redline and just the speed values at the bottom are wrong.

Still, to the actual graph. It's interesting as your curve has a different shape from what I'm used to seeing from the Zeds ... in particluar with the exhaust. Probably its because the 221kW engine is a bit different. It looks like your curve had got 3 distinct gradients on the uprise. One to about 4500rpm, then the other to ~6000rpm and then the last one to ~7000rpm. The older Zeds have just 2 gradients. One to ~4800rpm and then the other one to redline (ie. 6600rpm). Also most of us (or at least some of us) have this odd, sharp peak at around 6,500rpm. You curve seems to platoe from about 6,000 to 7000rpm.

None of this is a problem or an issue ... I'm just noting the differences. Looks like you have pretty substatial gains all throughout the rev-range with the exhaust. Thanks for posting it.

ps. Shame that you're in Sydney as I would love to meet up with you and see how it compares to the older cars.

After how much APS went on about shootout mode during their tech day demonstration (justifiably) its amazing that their sole Sydney dealer for the TT kit decided to do the dyno run without Shootout Mode enabled.

I'm assuming the two runs were done same-day, so the relative values are somewhat valid. Of course, with several hours difference it would have been nice to normalise the numbers and remove the minor climatic changes out of it.

Sorry... I am a bit lost here....

What exactly is shootout mode that you guys are talking about here? What are the differences between the shootout mode and the normal plot that is provided here?!

cheers and thanks!

What dyno graph are you referring to?

The power graph posted in this thread has been run in shoot 6 as far as I can see which is the correct dyno test software.

Ah yes, my bad. Sorry :)

I usually expect to see a big "Shootout Mode" logo in the corner of the graphing area.

Now that I read the fine print....

And it wasn't helping that I read someone else's post first and just took their word for it without reading the fine print myself.
