Hey guys, want to pass on some good information so this doesn't happen to you.
Performance Aftermarket and OEM Parts for the 300ZX 350Z G35 G37 240SX Skyline GT-R Nissan Peformance lineup
Ordered the JWT intake off their website, good shipping time ( thanks to UPS ) and look at the damage to the heat sheild, was scratches and damage to filter aswell.
I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM WITH ANY ORDER AGAIN, THE FACT THAT THEY SAID THIS AS A REPLY SHOCKED ME
" Those other scratches and dents should not be on there, but once you start installing it, you'll put your own scratches and dents to make it your own. Please remember, that he heat shield is not meant to be pretty, and can easily scratch and dent. "

It's not the fact that it came with scratches but its the fact they said its okay.

I actually painted my heat shield, and it still gets scratched up. Not a big deal.

Did you pay an exorbitant amount for it? If not, then it's not a big deal.

My wheels got scratched from road debris. I went ape ****, but eventually I got over it.

I followed this thread over at my350 and heard a lot of the same responses as SmoothZ - in fact I painted mine flat black myself and mentioned that over there. I think the bigger issue was the kind of shitty response and it was somewhat surprising as Coz has a great longstanding rep on the forums. He weighed in over there and to be honest, I still didn't like his response. I don't think the problem was all that substantial but after 28 years of owning my own business, I have learned perception is more than reality when it comes to a happy customer. I don't think he achieved that and I think he could have. Just my $.02..........
