I scraped my front wheel on a curb this morning pretty bad. The dealer told me they have a company that refurbishes damaged wheels for $100-150 a pop. It only takes them 1-2 days and they can bring it back to perfect condition, supposedly. Anyone know what kind of results to expect from this? My wheel is scraped up pretty bad. I plan to give refurbishing a try first since replacing the wheel is so much more expensive.

Have you asked the shop if they have any sample pics of their previous work?

I haven't asked to see pics yet, but that's a good idea. I called back to get more details because I'm supposed to drop the car off next week. I was told they do a complete refinish, filling in the scraped areas, repainting/clearcoating, etc. SO it's not just a buff and clean. I will post back as this unfolds.
