I was driving this morning on I-10 and couldnt swerve fast enough to avoid what looked like a big plastic planter that a bush or a tree comes in when you buy it from a store. It was about 2ftx2ft so pretty big. knocked the **** out of it so now I need a new bumper. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

No clear bra thank goodness. I had a small crease that i couldnt stand looking at anyway. So like you said at least I will have a fresh bumper all over again

$245 PLUS SHIPPING FOR NEW! (not painted)

A little slow at work figured I would practice looking up some parts!

Sorry to hear about the accident! It could have been worse!

Let me know if you need a bumper!

Bummer Dave...sorry you got dinged ....again. If you need the paint codes for SS let me know...mine has been re-painted 3 times now..make sure the use DBC base (not Global) or it will be too dark.

Oh, ****. I would seriously think of going aftermarket, like the Vertex.

I hate highway trash!

Yes...listed as WV2 on the plate...I think...but here is the PPG code match...
Correct paint code for SS = (sparkley silver) PPG #BC 5873 B
Correct base coat = DBC...do not use Global base coat...TOO DARK

Vertex is sweet...hard to get just one piece...If you want the front I'll pay for the rear...

Well, the silver[stone] lining here is that you came out of this unfortunate event physically unscathed (except for the bumper $$ deduction). We HATE when these things happen and we'll say things like "Why Me?" - but unlike the human kind, those auto body parts are definitely replaceable.

Hey, it could have been a lot worse - I'm sure I speak for all in saying that we're glad that you're okay after that mishap.

Then again, this may be a good excuse for you to go with a different look up front. :shiftdrive:

Sorry to hear about the bumper Dave. Like Frank said, it could have been a lot worse.
