Are you talking about their parts department? Or car sales? I had bad experience there when trying to buy my car.. They are very happy sales men.. and make you feel comfortable.. only to trick you on the numbers!!!

I too have had no problems ordering online from Courtesy. I'm placed several orders and all have gone smoothly.

to Courtesy Nissan parts dept. I have used them countless times, and cannot complain one bit. I am on a first name basis with Roger in parts...have had to return a few gifts , and a winter jacket I returned 3x b/c it was too big. Courtesy

I've bought the following and they all arrived quickly and they answered all my questions: Z car cover & lock, wheel locks, touch up paint bottle, touch up paint pen, and Nismo visor.

Absolutely, I've bought a couple of parts from Courtesy and they are great. They shipped the products the same day I placed the order. In addition, the order has always arrived ahead of schedule. Very happy with them. Just my $0.02.

I bought mine at Brown's Fairfax Nissan, and they tried to trick me too. When I walked in I told them I wanted to buy it for such and such amount for 60 months at such and such payments.

Everything was going so well, I was getting the payments I wanted for the # of yrs I wanted...or so I thought. I was about 80% done with the paperwork, had signed a bunch of stuff, including the loan terms. Luckily the sales manager messed up the paperwork and we had to start over.

Just I was about to sign the new loan paper, I noticed that they had snuck 72 months in on me without telling me. I was pissed.
I told them no way. They gave me sh*t about me agreeing to those terms. I told them to give me my keys back. All of a sudden they were doing whatever they could to get me into that car.

They wacked my interest rate down like 4 points, gave me discounted extended warranty, gave me more for my old car, and gave me the aero package for free. 3 hours later, after like 10 times asking for my keys back, I got what I wanted. In the end I won, but it was a PITA.

Side note - I kinda wish I would have wited like 6 months. Right now, around here, everyone is offering anywhere from 3000 to 10,000 dollars off MSRP. Oh well, I love my Z. No complaints.

Lo Fi, you should put this in a thread about Brown Fairfax Nissan to let people know.

Done

Moral of the story, read carefully. Even if they tell you what you want hear, it doesn't mean it's in writing.

Second moral of the story. Actuall, it was more like something learned. If you take up a lot of their time and then say 'no deal' then will bend over backwarks for you. In retrospect, I probably could have gotten an even better deal.

Something like that happened with me too. I spent quite a while at my dealership and I kept saying that their deal wasn't good enough. The salesguy went into the managers office about 4 times before he came out with the deal I had originally asked for. He definitely earned his commission that day[/font[

Courtesy sales:

I walked in know what the car could be bought for, total price, and monthly payments. I told them what i wanted my car payments to be and for how long. They smiled and told me its done, we can do that! About 2 hours later of waiting and watching the sales guys go all over the place, they finally brought me the contract. (all the time waiting, i was talking on my cell phone with other dealerships.
) Well the numbers were FAR from what they said they would be, but the kept saying we were where i wanted to be. Well the payments, were about 100$ more a month than we had agreed upon only a few hours earlier. So i called one of the other dealerships and walked out. I ended up getting the next model up for less money.

I know that I am new to this forum but I wanted to make sure that everyone knows that there is a BIG difference between Nissan Dealerships in Dallas. PLEASE go back and look at your contract and see if you paid for paint and fabric protector or an EPA Protections Package. On paper it looks like you paid less for your car - until you get to that - you paid $1000 for nothing? I have Addendum stickers from most of the Nissan Dealerships in town - most charge $1000 for fabric scam, at least $100 for wheel locks, and some charge for dealer prep and market adjustment?

Just something to think about. I know that buying a car is tough and finding a good dealership is even tougher!

So please realize that Courtesy is NOT a bad dealership - Not that the others are - but sometimes you just have to read the fine print.

So please be aware that what seems like a great deal can also be in the way that they show you the numbers!
