Never really saw it quite from that angle before this comment, but now yeh, it does resemble something of this nature. It just looks unproprtionate to me. Looks like the back end was taken from a completely different vehicle than the front.

Doesn't matter anyway, The AM V8 Vantage is going to own that entire segment.

That's the first thing that I thought when I saw it, they stole Aston Martin's designor or something.

Crossfire was designed by BMW for Chrysler if Im not mistaken

nope, all Daimler-Chrysler

The Crossfire is "the first really strong evidence of the value of the merger" between Chrysler Corp. and Daimler-Benz, which was completed in November 1998, argued Larry Achram, Chrysler's Vice President of Advanced Vehicle Design. Since then, the U.S. side of the company has been in deep financial trouble, and a growing number of observers have questioned the wisdom of the tie-up-which most now characterize as a German takeover.

The Crossfire is just a restyled Mercedes SLK. The entire platform is Mercedes, minus some restyling cues.

exactly, every newer chrysler you buy is just an old mercedes.

Crossfire = 1st gen slk
300C/Magnum/Charger = old E-class

It looks kind of like they put the following three items in a room...locked them in for two hours...and here is what came out.

ITEMS:
1. Aston Martin
2. 12-year-old girl
3. Bedazzler
