I used GUMOUT Carb Cleaner, a dozen q-tips, a rag, painters tape (optional)

Tape off the whole area where your side badges are to prevent drips. I persoanlly didn't do this, I was real careful. I started by spraying the q-tips and used it to remove along side the Z. After that simply spray the rag and wipe off any remaining paint on the badges. Just be real careful not to touch the paint. That's it, stand back and enjoy and post some pics of it.

That's cool that you found a way to do that. However, it doesn't look like the Z symbol is very prominent from a distance greater than 10 feet. I think they did the black to enhance the polished Z symbol. I like the chrome emblems.

Hey bluedragon, what color is your car? It looks like a custom job because it's too light to be DB. How much did it run you? I've been wanting to paint my Z for a long ass time, thinking something like a metallic laguna seca blue.
