I've been trying to figure out lately what I should do with the OEM Nissan center caps for my Rays. I won't be purchasing new wheels for atleast the next 8 months and I think the OEM caps are pretty much :vomit:

Searching for ideas, I thought about replacing them with Volk center caps (similar to TE-37's or LE-37's), but they too big (60mm vs 58 mm).

I've seen the Courtesy Nissan "Z" center caps but I'm not quite sure about them, especially since they're around $100.

Would these just look better off or does anyone have any other suggestions?

I haven't yet, since I would have to remove the wheel.

I believe there is another way to do it by prying it out with a small flat blade screwdriver and cloth but I'd rather not go to the trouble of doing so if it won't look right.

Here are some pics with the OEM caps on and off. What does everyone think looks better? Any comments welcome...

Leave them on; looks better that way. Also, just leave the centercaps alone. If you think you'll be getting new wheels within the year, best you concentrate on that instead of caps you never seen when driving.

Keep them on. Otherwise they just look like someone stole your caps and you can't afford new ones ;)

Back on they go....I guess I'm just getting tired of looking at the Nissan emblem everywhere I look on my car.

I may just buy the Courtesy ones afterall, even if its just temporary until I get my wheels.

I would have to agree with SmoothZ, don't worry about them if your getting new wheels anyway, its such a small detail and really not worth the trouble.
