I just completed a non-brembo to OEM Brembo brake install. Before I installed them, I did a seal and boot rebuild. After I installed them, I have a soft pedal, I would pump once then on the second press I get a really good bite. I also am hearing what sounds like a knock when I first initially brake. As if the pads violently clamp onto the rotor. I tried to research and today I attempted to trouble shoot. I greased/lubed up the caliper pins on all four brakes. Then I used a motive bleeder to bleed the calipers. Started with pass rear/ driver rear/ front pass/ driver pass. What I notice that the front outer bleeders barely bleed when I opened/released the bleeder screw. I saw air bubbles come out of all bleeders, I stopped when no more air bubbles came through. The front pads sit nice a snug, but the rear inner pad is loose. On all calipers I have the warning indicator on the outside. After all that, I still have a soft pedal and I am hearing the clamp/knock sound coming from my brakes, seems like a different one each time. The clamp/knock sound only comes to light with the first initial stop, once I get to driving and stopping normally the sound is not present. Please help. My last resort is to take it to a brake service shop. I will add that these are not OEM pads but they are NAPA ultra premium. Retail they were about $90 a set, but cheaper do to my employee discount. Thanks for the help. :newbie:

I would insure there is no air in the system, also check the bolts that hold the calipers in place. Put the car on jack stands, take the rear wheels off, start the car, put it in gear and observe the rear brakes when the brake pedal is pushed. Somethings sounds loose.
