I need to get some new brake pads and wondering what everyone has tried and their opinions.

I have a Touring model 350z so I was thinking of a big brake kit but the pads need changing now so this will have to come first.

Im after low noise, low dust, better than stock and can withstand a track event without warping my discs.

Im thinking of the RB74 pads but would like to hear some opinions.

Thanks

I have the Hawk HPS brake pads on my Z, they are fantastic! I swear by them now...NO dust and great stopping power, far better than stock. A lot of ppl here have the Hawks. I got mine off www.splparts.com but I think someone has found a better price? Read up on them anyways on that website, it tells you which pads to get for the application you will be using them in, ie street, racing, etc...:wavey: hope that helps out some!

First I don't have the Brembos....

I tried Nismo pads and then Hawks.

I'm going back to the Nismos. My Hawks did not have the same stopping power and they make as much dust and noise as my Nismo pads did. Neither are that bad as far as dust or noise. Certainly a lot less dust then the stock pads.

I'm just about to install my belated set of Ferodo DS2500s. I'll let you know how it goes.

The DS2500 are squicky with windows down, and it's only at certain speeds and time of day, some times they are quiet, sometimes they are loud. With windows up they are just fine.
