My engine rebuild starts soon . Arias pistons,Pauter rods,Nismo cams, heavy duty springs`, I would like to know how much boost can be safely ran [ with a Vortech SC ] on 92 octane ? And how much timing retard is needed ? I think with my smallest pulley [2.87 serp pulley ] I can make 11 to 12lb's of boost at 7,000rpm .

There is an informative page in Corky Bell's "Maximum Boost" book with a set of simple rule of thumb equations (ie , boost vs CR vs timing vs octane etc etc..) . If you don't have this book , it is highly recommended , you can buy it from Amazon. Some one may have a scan they can post here?

Great book, I recommend anyone that wants to know very technical details about forced inductions motors and what/how to make the most efficient power to buy it.
