I’m looking to invest in a new set of wheels and want something that will last long-term.

I do a mix of daily driving and occasional spirited runs, so I need something that’s durable but also looks good.

Has anyone here had great long-term results with a particular brand or type of wheel?

I’d appreciate any recommendations or advice on what works best for a balance of strength and style.

I’m considering going with forged wheels for durability. Does anyone have experience with them for long-term use?

 

I've had BBS RG-R forged wheels on my track Z for over a decade now. Beyond the durability, forged wheels are lighter than cast and offer better performance.

 

I’ve had 3-piece HRE forged wheels on my Z for 15-years And 30k+ miles. Never an issue.

 

Wheels refinished! It was time.

 

So those forged wheels were painted? That probably won't work on track or race cars, but it'll be interesting to see how paint holds up over time on a street car.
