What is the best grounding kit for the price? I dont want to overpay for something that might not even work well. Any recommendation?

I say get one of Max Ground's kits off of Ebay, it's ~$45 I think for a 5-wire kit.
Agreed. That is what I have on mine.
+1 or +2 or +3 for max ground. I have the 5-wire kit. No problems with it, and I got like 37.5 HP!!! :jk: Seriously, go with them and use the link Toykilla provided.
Yeah, grounding wires are really for looks. At the most, the just give a better ground for different components, nothing else.
If anything, I like my kit cause it smoothed out my idle. Thats really it tho..
I got one of the 5 wire kit here. While the customer service was great, but the fitment was so-so (wrong size washer) and the actual gain from them is margainal at best (if anything). I installed the kit at the dyno, didnt gain anything. On one of the run, I actually lost 3hp, but in average it was within 1hp and 1ft-lb of each other with or without the ground kit. I guess this is one of the item that is not bad to have, but its not necessary to have it at all. I would love to look at one of those HKS kit and see if they are any better

It didnt smooth out my idle, my idle still jumps up and down

Although this is what I thought, I wasn't sure what grounding wires were for.

It's here local in Johnson City, Tn. There is a race at the Bristol Raceway in the next town (20 min. away) this weekend, the Food City 500. Anybody watch Nascar? http://www.bristolmotorspeedway.com/
I have the blue Z-Extreme kit for over a year now and the only problem with it is that its somewhat discolored. It still looks good under the hood with the blue color but at closer inspection you can tell there is a different shades of blue.
Is there any real difference between a 5 & 6 wire kits?
Got my from Activetuning.com. It works like the other ones with no problem.

To maximize the effectiveness of the grounding kit I recommend gold plated copper ring terminals.

I disagree.

One has 5 wires, and the other has 6. :nana: :rolf2:
