Hello I'm somewhat new to Nissan and purchased a 2004 350z base, unfortunate I didn't know there where different models such as track and touring. So I'm slowing trying to build it up to a true performer. While researching facts on this car I ran across this blessing. Great site!
found this forum in hope that I can find info on how hard or easy it will be to do a motor swap in a 04 350Z. I am about to pick up one with a popped timing belt. and just trying to find out what all i should look out for. person says it needs a new engine I dont know anything about these cars but have always wanted one. So buying a project.
I'm a recent Z owner looking for a reputable 350z forum - one that is non-judgemental and leaves ego out of discussion. I hope I made the right decision by registering here first after trolling on a few others 
A bit about my Z: 2003, Touring Edition, 6 speed manual, 45xxx, was meticulously maintained before I got a hold of her. Interior 9/10, exterior 8/10. Couldn't be happier.

Hi! I'm new to the community. Just bought a sweet 2004 350Z Enthusiast Ragtop, only 52,000 original miles. I'm loving it and figured, when I need help ( which I know I will!) I need to know where to go to ask for help. Be ready!

Got a 2006 GT about 15 months ago and I figured its time to join a group that seems to know more than me...
Already found some help on a few things so I'm glad the guys at Leatherseats.com recommended you! I've put a new Invidia exhaust system on it, along with new tires and brakes... Runs really strong for 185K miles. Body and interior is next.
